I am not only an aspiring Evil Overlord, but also a doll collector with sewing as a hobby.
Admittedley I am somewhat a beginner, but hopefully I will improve over time.
I'm mostly interested in sewing for my dolls, and a friend of mine who says only really tough guys are secure enough in their masculinity to sew dresses for their friends.
Challenge accepted, Annie.
I'll start by introducing the dolls that will appear on this blog the most often.
Lydia Green, the kleptomaniacal Middie size Blythe.
Raven Queen and Maddie Hatter, from Ever After High.
And from the same line, Cerise Hood. I haven't done a proper photoshoot for her yet, but I hope the words 'modification' spark your interest. My aforementioned friend is an artist, and she painted Cerise's ears to look sufficiently wolfy.
Let me tell you about my latest sewing project. I recently became interested in a delightful cartoon called Ruby Gloom, and thought she would look great as a ragdoll.
So I dug up an old Betsy Mccall pattern and some fabric.
See you later when I've made some progress. :)
'ello.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that your profile says that you keep gargoyles as pets. I ADORE gargoyles and would love to know where you got yours from.

Gargoyles can be found in various different places. Mostly in architecture, but I would not advise stealing them, as people would notice their absence.
DeleteThere are, however, people to buy them from, like stonemasons.
There are also gargoyle satues available on sites like ebay, but one should always look into the seller's history and buyer's reviews before buying anything.
My gargoyles, however, came with my fortress of doom as it was.
I was very lucky to find a deal like that.
I hope this helps in some way. :)
Thanks =)
